If you have NOT received accommodations at UNC Asheville in the past...

Follow these two simple steps:  (Video: How to Apply for Accommodations)

Step 1

Complete the Online Student Application. If you are not sure what accommodations may be helpful, that's fine; you may discuss this with the Accessibility Staff. If you need help completing this form, please contact the office. Someone will be happy to help you.

Step 2

Review the Guidelines for Documentation. Appropriate documentation is a part of determining your eligibility for certain accommodations. It can be helpful to share these guidelines with your clinician(s) to aid them in understanding office expectations for documentation. You should upload your documentation as Part 2 of the Online Student Application, or you may send them to our office and we will do this for you.
